Human Resources ROI, LLC, was founded in 2017 to support New Hampshire, northern Massachusetts, and southern Maine organizations through our zest for the fields of Human Resources and Safety Management. Based on the Pease Tradeport in Portsmouth, NH, we are able to provide local, dedicated onsite and virtual support for our clients.
With our breadth of experience in supporting large international corporations to small NH based businesses to local non-profit social ventures, we strive to create value and show a meaningful return on an organization’s people investment through cost-reductions, reduced liability and exposure, and increased revenue.
We work in partnership with other dedicated and experienced HR and Safety professionals to provide the highest-quality support and service for our clients. There is a tremendous satisfaction in helping people and their organizations solve challenges, feel better, and become more successful!

My major in college was Human Resources and I’ve been in the HR and safety field for over 20 years. I love helping people solve their challenges and the complexity of compliance. In early 2017, I decided to engage my entrepreneurial spirit and founded Human Resources ROI to work directly with local New Hampshire, southern Maine, and northern Massachusetts organizations.
My education includes a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Global Studies, Graduate Certificates in Human Resources Management and in Social Media Marketing, and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Administration and Psychology.
My six years as an Adjunct Professor with SNHU and UNH has helped fine-tune my training and facilitation ability. Over the past years, I have led 60+ degree courses and certificate program workshops. I’m a Certified Senior HR Professional through the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and have helped dozens of HR professionals through their HR certification exam preparation process.
I’m also a Certified Safety Management Specialist through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). I have a special interest in the safety field after supporting manufacturing workplaces for many years.
I’m an active business community member with many associations, including the Seacoast Human Resources Association (SHRA) through SHRM as the Social Media and SHRM Foundation Director, local Chamber of Commerce Associations in NH, ME, and MA, and the NH Business & Industry Association (NH BIA) HR, HealthCare, and Workforce Development Committee. I’m also involved in my community as a Board Member for Rochester Youth Soccer Association (RYSA) as as a Head Coach.

Laura Sullivan, PHR, Partner and Senior Talent Consultant
I’ve been in the field of Human Resources for over 20 years and have had the great honor of working for amazing organizations and leaders that taught me a tremendous amount about business, best practices and most importantly, the people that make up organizations. I discovered early on that my talent was supporting and identifying “the best talent”.
My HR experience ranges from supporting large international corporations to small NH based businesses, not for profit education, and organizations that experienced tremendous growth. After seven successful years of supporting organizational growth and talent acquisition for Southern New Hampshire University, I’m excited about applying my experience and talent supporting Human Resources ROI’s local organizations in NH, southern ME, and northern MA.
I’ve maintained my Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification since 2006 and I hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Plymouth State University. I am also working on my Master’s in Human Resources Management. My professional membership includes the Seacoast Human Resources Association (SHRA) and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).
My community involvement has been focused on working with high school and college students with resume preparation, career planning, and interviewing skills, as well as with the Stratham NHSPCA and a local horse rescue organization. I’m also an avid New England sports fan and can be very competitive on the golf course!
